Long before Theo James signed on to play Four in the upcoming "Divergent" adaptation, the hot Brit just so happened to be a guest star on one of the greatest “Downton Abbey” episodes of all time. It was there he first got our pulses racing.
You might recall that during season one of the hit period drama (which just kicked off its fourth season in the U.K. last week), Theo played Mr. Pamuk, who died in the throes of passion while deflowering the one and only Lady Mary. It stands as one of the most memorable things that ever happened on a show where a lot of unforgettable stuff goes down.
Ahead of the new season’s premiere, we got the chance to chat with Theo about his time at Downton, where he made all the girls swoon, including us viewers at home. And, he managed to give us an amusing statement all these seasons later about the death seen around the world.
"I try to manage that in my day-to-day life as well; kind of post-coital bliss, semi dying," he shared, leaving us blushing.
BTW, 2014 is a big year for “Downton” and Theo fans. Americans have to wait until January 5 to catch the new season of “Downton," while Theo’s film “Divergent,” is slated to hit theaters on March 21.
