Peep A Creepy Photo From 'Miss Peregrine's' Sequel!

Hollow CityAt this point, there are probably no more than a dozen people left on the planet who haven't read Ransom Riggs' bestselling novel, "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," in which a precocious teenager loses his grandfather, travels to Wales, and has a series of astounding adventures involving dental tentacles and World War II wormholes and creepy vintage photographs. But if you've been waiting for the paperback—because it's cheaper, or you like floppy books, or you didn't yet know how to read when the hardcover came out last year—then now's your chance to snag it!

The book is out in stores now, and in honor of its release, we've got something... well, peculiar to show you. It's an image from the "Miss Peregrine's" sequel, "Hollow City," which picks up right where the first book left off, following the merry band of peculiar orphans as they travel to London in search of answers.

Who is this stern young man, and why is he lurking in this open door in a pair of the world's most high-waisted trousers? We've no idea, but you can bet the answer is something weeeeird—in the "Miss Peregrine's" universe, it's always something weird. (Perhaps he's come in from out-of-doors to tell us that there's a hollowgast lurking in the yard.) Either way, he'll be waiting to meet you in the pages of "Hollow City" when it comes out next January. And in the meantime, many small, creepy children just like him can be found in the "Miss Peregrine's" paperback right this minute, if you like that sort of thing, which we know you do.

Have you read "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"? Got theories about the sequel?
