The big-screen adaptation of James Dashner's dystopian drama "The Maze Runner" has been a long time coming (you'll recall the novel was optioned, like, three years ago), so we wouldn't blame you for taking an "I'll believe it when I see it" approach to the film. With that in mind, we have just one thing to say to you: see!
On Friday, actor Will Poulter (who plays Gally), took to Twitter to share an image of he and co-star Dylan O'Brien (who plays Thomas) sparring during a round of fight training.
"Me and @dylanobrien in wrestling practice. #OutOfOurDepth #WeJustWannaHug" he wrote. Earlier in the day, he tweeted: "Wicked day. Had a great read through with the whole cast and stunt training all afternoon! Gladers are now in the gym!"
For the uninitiated, "The Maze Runner" centers on Dylan's character, Thomas, who awakens one day in an elevator with no memories of his previous life. He's been delivered to the Glade, an enclosed area surrounded by a concrete wall and filled with boys his own age. But he soon discovers his new home is actually in the midst of a labyrinth—one filled with deadly terrors. How will he and his fellow Gladers escape? Well, you'll have to watch the movie or, you know, read the book series upon which it's based to find out!
"The Maze Runner," also starring Kaya Scodelario and Thomas Brodie-Sangster, will sprint into theaters February 14, 2014.
