With the theatrical release of "The Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire," still a blistering seven months away, fans are no doubt desperately searching for ways to stoke their Panem love flames until November. So here's a bit of kindling for you: The song "Beyond Fire," featured in the "Catching Fire" trailer that debuted during the MTV Movie Awards, has been released as a single, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The moody, epic track is the work of T.T.L., a pairing of artist Tying Tiffany and producer Lorenzo Montana, and is available to download on iTunes and stream on Spotify. The duo is no stranger to the dystopian drama—they previously wrote "Deep Shadow," which was featured in the first "Hunger Games" trailer.
"While writing the music we got inspired thinking about the sense of sacrifice, survival and revolution present in the books," Tiffany told THR. "It was not too hard to get into this mood, since these are issues that we are living in now, in this moment of history."
Indeed, with its haunting chorus of voices and driving pulse, "Beyond Fire" captures Panem's rising temperature in "Catching Fire" perfectly.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters November 22.
