Carey Mulligan Tux Into Style Superstardom

Although we love a pretty dress or glam gown as much as the next guy, there's something extra sexy and stylish about a woman who can rock some menswear—as evidenced by not one, but two of Hollywood's finest femme fatales having put on their party pants this week. One of them is our Style Superstar; the other is...well, something, anyway. Who's legging it out in our fashion feature?

First up: It's Carey Mulligan, who pre-empted what's sure to be a seriously glamorous series of Gatsby-related appearances with a striking androgynous look at the Tiffany and Co. Blue Book Ball. With her hair in a platinum pompadour and her face kept very bare, Carey traded her usual feminine style for something that looks straight out of Tilda Swinton's closet —and we looooooove it. This Victoria Beckham tuxedo with a down-to-there plunge neckline is so flattering on her, and the cutaway sleeves add a chic edge to the otherwise classic silhouette.

But while we're on the subject of flattering two-legged looks...uh, this isn't. Rebecca Hall donned a black Lanvin jumpsuit for the "Iron Man 3" premiere that showed off quite a lot of her top-half assets while simultaneously bagging and sagging in all the wrong places down below. Even with her beautiful face, sleek side bun and flawless figure, Rebecca couldn't carry off this look—nor, we suspect, could anyone. Love her shoes, though.

What do you think of this week's fashion featurees?
