Max Irons Is ‘The Host’ Of This Week’s Hump Day Hottie Honor

Max Irons is not only the star of this week’s highly anticipated sci-fi romance “The Host,” but he is also full of high-profile acting DNA and really easy on the eyes, to boot. Did we forget to mention he’s English too? If those aren’t enough reasons to name him this week’s Hump Day Hottie then we don’t know what to tell you.

Check out this dreamy photo of Max, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Max is a man of breeding. The 27-year-old Londoner grew up around some of the best in the biz, including his actress mom Sinead Cusack and his superstar actor dad Jeremy Irons. He attended the Dragon School in Oxford and later graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Where you might have already seen him: Prior to his starring part in “The Host,” he nabbed roles of varying degrees in projects like “Being Julia,” “Dorian Gray,” “Red Riding Hood” and “The Runaway.”

Why you should take notice of him now: Well, this week he stars in the buzzy adaptation of “The Host,” in which he (well, his character, Jared) falls for Saoirse Ronan’s Melanie (before she’s peskily invaded by an alien). Considering this story comes from the mind of the one and only Stephenie Meyer, we’re sure “Twilight” fans are excited to see her latest tale come to life on the big screen.

In addition to “The Host,” he’s also set to star in “Posh,” “Vivaldi” (as the title character and famed composer), as well as the TV series “The White Queen,” in which he will have the very regal role of King Edward. We bow down to this king, indeed.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Max by gawking at the photo above!
