Though the actress has been slaying Hollywood since her breakout in the 2009 drama “The Blind Side,” we have a feeling this will be her biggest year yet, thanks largely to her role as Clary Fray in the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s novel.
Co-starring Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, “City of Bones” follows Brooklyn teen Clary as she uncovers the secrets of her lineage among a race of half-human, half-angel demon destroyers known as Shadowhunters.
But the supernatural story is just one of several projects on the actress’ plate. Also set for release this year are “Stuck in Love” and “The English Teacher” (both, oddly enough, co-starring Greg Kinnear), and she’ll begin shooting the “Romeo and Juliet” re-imagining “Rosaline” (based on Rebecca Serle’s novel “When You Were Mine”) and the romantic comedy “Love, Rosie” (co-starring Sam Claflin) later this year.
Clearly, an impending quarter-life crisis is the furthest thing from this newly minted 24-year-old’s mind!
