Saoirse Ronan And Max Irons Pucker Up In EXCLUSIVE 'The Host' Clip

They can take our lives, but they can never take our FREEEEEDOM ... to make-out in the rain. That's the top-line lesson we're gleaning from a new, EXCLUSIVE clip from the upcoming post-apocalyptic romance "The Host," out March 29.

Set to the strains of Imagine Dragon's "Radioactive" (a track you should recognize from the trailer), we meet Melanie Stryder (played by Saoirse Ronan), her brother Jamie Stryder (played by Chandler Canterbury) and her boyfriend Jared Howe (played by Max Irons)— a few of the remaining people on Earth after an invading race commandeered human bodies for their own use. But it's not all bad because there's still love. (And by "love" we mean "steamy, steamy kisses.")

Even before this fresh first look, we had a hunch Saoirse and Max would sizzle on-screen. Why? Because Stephenie Meyer told us, describing the pair's screen-test chemistry as "WOW!" (And this coming from the lady who sat in on all those Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart smooches in "The Twilight Saga"...)

Click play on the clip above to start swooning over our star-crossed loves right now. And be sure to check out the film when it hits theaters on March 29.
