Among the many clever quips served up by Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler was one in which the "30 Rock" star warned Taylor Swift to stay away from Michael J. Fox's son, who was serving as Mr. Golden Globes. Vulture caught up with the "Back to the Future" actor following the awards ceremony, and he agreed that the country cutie shouldn't date his boy.
"No. No ... Just back off," he said. "I don’t keep up with it all," he said. "But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career."
Ouch. Well, as it turns out, the actor must have felt bad about his comments because he's since reached out to Taylor, according to a new tweet.
Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back.— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) January 18, 2013
Glad that's settled.
And with that, Crushers, we bid you adieu. Have a lovely weekend!
