Golden Globes 2013: 'Girls,' Jennifer Lawrence Make It A Ladies' Night

Who run the world? "Girls"! ...And girls!

It was a veritable ladies' night during the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, where many of our favorite females took home statuettes for their work on screens big and small.

Could it just be coincidence that on the same night as its second-season premiere, HBO's "Girls" garnered two wins, one for Best Actress Lena Dunham and the other for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical? All we know for sure is that Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" should be played at any and every awards show ever.

Another winning woman was Jennifer Lawrence, who danced away with a shining orb for her turn opposite Bradley Cooper in the endearing "Silver Linings Playbook." Despite being under-the-weather, JLaw looked stunning in her reddish orange Christian Dior couture gown and delivered a predictably guffaw-worthy acceptance speech. "What does this say? 'I Beat Meryl!'" she enthused, before thanking her fellow cast members and studio head Harvey Weinstein for "killing whoever you had to kill to get me up here today."

And, of course, who could forget Anne Hathaway, who won for her role as Fantine in the movie musical "Les Miserables"? Especially when she gave such a heartfelt shout-out to the Princess of Genovia.
