Can it be? Is Christmas really over? Though the calendar reads "December 26," you don't need to pack up the lights and put the figgy pudding on ice just yet. After all, we have yet to check in with Hollywood's hottest to see how they spent the holidays! From volunteering to trimming the tree to Santa Claus role-playing (yes, you read that right), our favorite stars embraced the Christmas spirit with rosy cheeks and hearts full of love. So pour yourself another helping of eggnog and check out our run-down (or else you might just find a marauding band of reindeer at your door...) Merry Christmas!
There are few things that get our bells ringing quite like celebrating the season with friends, and that's just what "High School Musical" co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale did. Ashley took to Instagram to share a pic of the Disney duo decking the halls on Christmas Eve. "Santa's Lil helpers. Decorating with @vanessahudgens and Austin #christmas #besties," she wrote. We're guessing there weren't many Troy Bolton ornaments to be found...
While Vanessa and Ashley were giving good face, a handful of young stars were giving their time to the annual Los Angeles Mission's Christmas Eve for the Homeless. Among the volunteers serving up dinner for the needy were Bella Thorne, Booboo Stewart and sister Fivel. Santa would be so proud.
Speaking of Santa, Katy Perry took Father Christmas home with her. Or, rather, crooner boyfriend John Mayer, who must have crammed the red suit into his carry-on, evidenced by an image the "Teenage Dream" singer tweeted. A source told People: "They're happy together and with her family for the holidays. John really likes getting to know Katy's family better."
Meanwhile, John's ex Jessica Simpson confirmed that her little round belly isn't a bowl full of jelly but a burgeoning baby bump! For the second time, the starlet announced her pregnancy news via a holiday-themed tweet, with an image of daughter Maxwell accompanied by the phrase "Big Sis" scrawled in the sand below. What a cute Christmas present indeed!
And, proving that stars really are JUST LIKE US, many flocked to the theaters to watch their colleagues sing and dance on screen (helping a certain movie musical clench the No. 1 spot at the box office).
"Just saw Les Mis.. is was amazing!! As a member of the Les Mis family I thought they did an amazing job and truly honored the show:)," Lea Michele wrote.
And, hinting that she too spent a few hours in a dark cinema, "Girls" star Lena Dunham tweeted, "David O. Russell, such a stylish filmmaker. Jennifer Lawrence's face/ass haunt me in the most positive way. I loved Silver Linings Playbook."
