Keira Knightley is no stranger to literary adaptations, having starred in a number of novel films, including "Pride & Prejudice, "Atonement," "Never Let Me Go" and, most recently, "Anna Karenina." So it stands to reason that the 27-year-old might have some interest in entering Christian Grey's Red Room of Pain for "Fifty Shades of Grey." Or...not.
Josh Horowitz posed that very question to Keira recently, and let's just say she won't be signing any contracts anytime soon.
"You know, I normally don't like to give a definite about anything. I can definitely say it will not be 'Fifty Shades of Grey,'" Keira said of any upcoming book-based projects.
The actress did, however, cop to being a bit of a Judgmental Judy in regards to E L James' best-selling novel, considering she's never read actually read it.
"I mean just, just from friends who have read, who've gotten into it, and I've gone, 'No...'" she said. "I did 'A Dangerous Method' that had a bit of all that in it. I don't think I need to do it again."
Oh, Keira! Christian will be very...displeased.
