Zach Gilford’s ‘Nature’ Is To Be A Hump Day Hottie

Is there any better guy to kiss under the mistletoe this holiday season than Zach Gilford? Yeah, we didn’t think so. Considering he has a new movie out and remains one of our eternal crushes (Texas Forever!), we’ve decided to name the actor this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Zach and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The adorable 30-year-old grew up in suburban Chicago. He studied at Northwestern University before the shiny lights of Hollywood drew him to the West Coast and he pursued an acting career. He broke hearts everywhere when he got engaged to actress Kiele Sanchez last year.

Where you might have already seen him: He was one of the many hotties on the beloved “Friday Night Lights” TV series. But, his resume goes far beyond high school football melodramas. He’s also been seen in “Post Grad,” “Super” and the short-lived TV show, “Off The Map.” He was also tapped by Taylor Swift to play her love interest in her “Ours” video. That girl’s got good taste.

Why you should take notice of him now: He stars in the indie, “In Our Nature,” out in limited release this week. He plays opposite “Mad Men” star John Slattery in the family drama about a father and son trying to mend their broken relationship. “Hunger Games” star Jena Malone gets to play his girlfriend. We aren’t playing when we say we are reeeeeally jealous. You can also catch him in the final episodes of “The Mob Doctor,” which will finish its run in January after being canceled last month.

Zach’s also wrapped up work on other films like the family drama “Crazy Kind of Love” and the action flick “The Last Stand” (alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Forest Whitaker and Johnny Knoxville). We kind of hope he blows something up.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Zach by gawking at the photo above!
