‘Carrie Diaries’ Books Another Hottie

It should come as no surprise that the cutie casting announcements keep coming in for The CW’s “Sex and the City” prequel “The Carrie Diaries,” which will make its fashionable debut come January 14.

The latest paramour to potentially sweep Carrie Bradshaw (played by AnnaSophia Robb) off her feet is Richard Kohnke, who’s been cast in the multiple-episode role of George Silver. And it sounds as though this dashing suitor could be the retro spirit animal of one Chuck Bass. See if any of this rings a butler’s bell: George is described in Deadline’s report as “a handsome, charming and entitled Upper East Side kid with a confident, seen-it-all attitude who is taking a gap year between prep school and college.”

Of course, George won’t be the only one vying for Carrie’s affections. New-kid-in-town Sebastian (played by Austin Butler) will serve as the teen’s love interest a little closer to home. Either way, all we have to say is: Bring on the eye candy!
