Ben Whishaw Hits 'Skyfall' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

We kind of have a soft spot for any guy with a British accent and a great head of hair. So you can see why we’re crushing on "Skyfall" star Ben Whishaw, who possesses floppy locks and a dreamy lilt. Oh, yeah, he also happens to run in the same circle as James Bond. Not too shabby, chap! So, in honor of his role in the espionage thriller, we’re naming Ben this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Ben and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Born in a village in England, the 32-year-old got his start in theater, like most critically acclaimed British thespians. He was featured as a player in the Bancroft Players Youth Theatre at Hitchin's Queen Mother Theatre. And, here’s the best fact we’ve learned in a while: Ben has a twin brother. The slogan, "Double your pleasure, double your fun," has never had more meaning for us than in this moment.

Where you might have already seen him: Acting for nearly 15 years, Ben has built up quite an interesting resume, including roles in film and TV. He’s appeared in "Layer Cake," "Bright Star," "I’m Not There," "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer," "Brideshead Revisited" and the series "The Hour."

Why you should take notice of him now: This fall has been kind to Ben. In addition to appearing in the big-screen epic, "Cloud Atlas," he’s also about to hit your local cineplex in "Skyfall" playing Bond’s go-to gadget guru, Q, alongside fellow attractive Brit, Daniel Craig.

Ben's got some other highly anticipated projects on his docket including "The Zero Theorem" and "Robopocalypse."

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Ben by gawking at the photo above!
