It's times like these we can't help but wonder if Lorne Michaels isn't secretly a 25-year-old woman. This weekend, "Saturday Night Live" will welcome two of our most favoritests: host Joseph Gordon-Levitt and musical guest Mumford & Sons. Yeah, we're swooning already.
This will be Joe's second time hosting the sketch comedy show, and he took to Twitter today to spread the word...and a series of funny, funny promos with "SNL" player Jason Sudeikis. (Also, please don't cut yourself in half, Joe. Though I guess that would make sharing you with our best gal pal a little easier...)
With promo-shooting duties complete, the "Looper" actor then sat down to hash out the episode's material. "About to do the big table-read. 40 sketches that get paired down to 7 or 8 by the live show Saturday night," he wrote.
We would sit through (500) Days of sketches for you, Joe. I hope you know that.
Are you excited to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt return to the Studio 8H stage? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
