School will be back in session at McKinley High in mere weeks, and wouldn't you know, we're already being assigned study materials in the form of promo photos from the upcoming fourth season! Along with the usual yearbook-esque shots of "Glee" regulars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and the returning troupe of New Directioners, the network has released a handful of snaps featuring the series' comely new stars.
First up is Jacob Artist, who plays Puck's half-brother, Jake. Early casting news had it that this Puckerman will also be a bit of a trouble maker (no surprise there!). He'll try out for the club in the season premiere, but his no-good ways could get him banned from glee.
Next up is Melissa Benoist, who plays another McKinley newcomer, Marley. Not much is known about her character, but with one promo shot showing her in the choir room, we suspect she'll help fill the Rachel Berry-sized hole in the chorus.
Roaming the halls of NYADA will be former "Australian Idol" contestant Dean Geyer, who plays Brody, a potential love interest for recent Ohio transplant Rachel. (But what about Finn!?)
And, finally, there's Becca Tobin, who plays Kitty. Like Melissa, Becca's role is a bit of a mystery, but seeing as she's pictured in a Cheerios uniform, it's a safe bet she'll go toe-to-toe with Sue Sylvester, either as friend or foe.
Also joining the Fox series in the upcoming season are guest stars Kate Hudson, who was featured prominently in a recently released poster and trailer, as well as Sarah Jessica Parker, who's rumored to play a mentor to Chris Colfer's Kurt.
"Glee" returns Thursday, September 13.
