Amber Riley Wants 'Glee' To Visit Britney Spears' 'Circus'

by Ashleigh Schmitz

We can't wait until "Glee" airs its second Britney Spears tribute episode this fall. We turned our hairbrushes into karaoke microphones and sang along with the cast to our fave Brit-hits the first time around in September 2010, and while the pop princess won't guest-star in this episode, she will join "Glee" on the Fox Thursday night lineup as an "X Factor" judge.

When we sat down with Amber Riley for dish on the new Britney episode, she couldn't confirm anything (but we know it's true!), saying she doesn't listen for rumors. Then we pressed her on what song she'd want to sing and she almost dodged us again saying that all of her favorites were performed the first time around, before finally admitting she wants to sing a certain big-top-themed hit.

"There's so much Britney music. I grew up listening to Britney Spears. She definitely has been a part of my high school years coming up," Amber said. "I would love 'Circus.' 'Circus' is a good one."

Not gonna lie, we could totally see Amber putting Mercedes' diva touch on "Circus," especially since Rachel has graduated. Does that make her the de facto New Directions ringleader?

"Glee" returns Thursday, September 13.
