Diego Boneta Is Our 'Rock Of Ages' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

Diego Boneta is muy guapo. And this week he’s heating up the big screen as would-be rocker, Drew, in the splashy, big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, "Rock of Ages." He sings. He dances. He acts. He’s easy on the eyes. Like we need another reason to name him this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Diego and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Born in Mexico City, the 21-year-old can speak both English and Spanish fluently and holds triple citizenship in Mexico, the U.S. and Spain. And he’s been acting since he was a child appearing on kiddie telenovelas before coming over to the states to steam up small screens.

Where you might have already seen him: For his Hollywood career, he’s appeared on “Zeke and Luther,” “90210” (where he played a pop star, fittingly) and one of Hollywood Crush’s favorite primetime soaps, “Pretty Little Liars.” He also appeared in the sequel to the Lindsay Lohan classic “Mean Girls 2.”

Why you should take notice of him now: He’s ready to make the transition to movie star in “Rock of Ages," in which he plays a bus boy and aspiring rocker on the Sunset Strip who falls for Julianne Hough’s character Sherrie. In addition to Julianne, the film also stars Alec Baldwin, Malin Akerman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand and, oh yeah, Tom Cruise.

"He's the hardest-working guy we've ever met in our lives," Diego told MTV News. "He's so humble. I think that combination is something that really stuck with me. This is my first movie; this is Tom's, like, 50th movie. That is a rare and very special combination."

Next up, Diego will appear in the MTV series "Underemployed."

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Diego by staring at the photo above!
