Just when you thought no dance movie could surprise you, "Step Up Revolution" is giving you a film that'll make you get up off your feet. We have your EXCLUSIVE look at stills from the fourth installment (out July 27) giving a sneak peek at some of the moves you can expect from the world class dancers.
The "Step Up" franchise—the movie that gave Channing Tatum his big break—is back to start a different type of movement. After Emily (Kathryn McCormick) arrives in Miami to become a professional dancer, she meets Sean (Ryan Guzman), the leader of a dance crew that acts more like a improv street mob. The two hit it off immediately, and Sean opens her up to the world of live performance art. The photos give a glimpse of those routines presenting the mob as they shut down a busy street to perform and showcase their talents.
Another photo shows the troupe in business attire, leaning to the left with money raining down to the floor. In true flash mob style they blend in with the crowd in an office building before dancing as one down the escalators and in the lobby. That's when their big break hits. Their videos go viral online giving them the exposure they need when their neighborhood is threatened by development plans for a new hotel. Their performance art quickly turns into protest art as they fight to save their homes and their livelihoods.
