Jennifer Lawrence Gets The Boonshaft In The Best Movie Awards Spoof Ever

Forget last night's celebrity appearances, red-carpet fashions, or amazing acceptance speeches as they claimed their Golden Popcorn: For Hollywood Crush, THE most memorable moment of last night's MTV Movie Awards came courtesy of mysterious archery expert Lester Boonshaft, who pierced us right in our beating heart with an arrow...of AMAZINGNESS.

Who is Lester Boonshaft? Only the greatest archery pro never to hit a bullseye! (And he's definitely not Joel McHale from "The Soup" wearing breeches and a cape. Nope. Definitely not.) The talented weapons expert was the subject of one of last night's most talked-about featurettes, as J.J. Abrams aired his grievances over Lester's peculiar lack of experience, and "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence sat down for an exclusive interview with MTV in which she told all about her experience under Lester's tutelage.

"Did I find it odd that an archery teacher didn't know how to hold a bow and arrow?" she asked. "...Yeah."

But Lester, who, let us not forget, is an EXPERT, wasted no time in schooling us in the subtle elegance of Archer's Philosophy: "Why would I hold a bow an arrow? Correct me if I'm wrong, but archery is extremely dangerous!"

And he's right! Which is why we can only hope that the recent resurgence of arrow-wielding heroes—in "The Avengers," "Game of Thrones," "The Hunger Games" and more—will give Lester a plethora of new opportunities to hone his craft, build his student base, and grace more actors with messaged cellphone pictures of, Boonshaft.

Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what just happened at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards!
