It turns out Channing Tatum had it right when he said that "Breaking Dawn" was going to take home the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, but we know at least one person who was voting for him. When MTV News caught up with Channing and his wife—and "Step Up" costar!—Jenna Dewan, she was more than happy to tout his smooching skills.
"I think he should totally win! He should totally win," she said after Channing repeatedly said, "I'm not gonna win."
"I don't know, 'The Hunger Games,' they might have a little of an edge, but you never know. He's the best kisser. He's the best kiss-er, though."
Well, she would be the one to know. Long before Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson fell in love after filming "Twilight" together, sparks flew between Channing and Jenna on the set of 2006's "Step Up." The couple has been together ever since, and remain one of the cutest celebrity duos around.
Unfortunately, it was Rachel McAdams and not Jenna that Channing was kissing in "The Vow," or else he might have had a better chance of winning. Instead, he was right in assuming that "The Twilight Saga" would win Best Kiss for the fourth year in a row.
"It doesn't matter. The 'Twilight' kids always sweep it," he told MTV News on Thursday night when he sat down for the "Magic Mike" MTV Sneak Peek Week event. "They sweep it every time."
Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what just happened at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards!
