'Pretty Little Liars' Will Get 'More Intense, Scarier' Next Season, Says Janel Parrish

When we last left Mona, she had been locked away in a psychiatric ward after confessing to being A. However, like all things on "Pretty Little Liars," nothing is what it seems. And where there’s an A, there’s plenty more trouble brewing. With the third season quickly approaching, Mona herself, Janel Parrish, promised things will only get crazier.

"When we come back, it's six months after the finale, and you’ll find out more about the A-team. Mona is at Radley Sanitarium where we left her,” she said, teasing this scintillating piece of 411. "And you’ll see who’s been visiting her."

Considering "PLL" has kept us in suspense for two seasons, when Janel teased that it’s only about to get more bananas, we were a bit perplexed about how the already-high stakes could get any higher. "There are lots of crazy surprises. I think it’s going to be a more intense, scarier season than we’ve ever had," she said. "So it’s gonna be really fun."

What sounds even more fun is finding out who has been plotting with whom. And Janel assured us the allies are unexpected. “You will see more connections being made for people you didn’t even know knew each other in Rosewood,” she said. “So it’s going to be interesting.”
