The episode will be the second of “Glee”’s fourth season and will feature eight of Britney’s songs. But unlike “Glee’s” “Britney/Brittany,” this tribute will not center around Brittany S. Pearce (Heather Morris) and Britney is not scheduled to appear (although EW says the show’s producers are trying to work out a deal!).
It might be just that much easier considering Britney will join Demi Lovato as the newest “X Factor” judge, which along with “Glee” will move to Thursday nights in the fall. It also probably helps that the first episode honoring Brit set record ratings, drawing 13.3 million viewers. With numbers like that, we’ll stay optimistic about the pop sensation making another appearance.
