Talk about dedication to your craft! For her role as Fantine in the upcoming movie musical "Les Miserables," actress Anne Hathaway lopped off her long brunette locks, sporting a seriously snipped look in London over the weekend.
Anne's been sporting a shoulder-length-or-longer 'do ever since she broke onto the scene in 2001's "Princess Diaries," so the shorn look is a serious departure for the starlet.
Of course, Anne is hardly the first actress to befriend a pair of shears in the name of the cinema. Kristen Stewart famously cropped her long locks into short, shaggy layers to portray Joan Jett in 2010's "The Runaways," while Natalie Portman went the full buzz, razoring her silky strands for 2005's "V for Vendetta."
