'Hunger Games' Star Isabelle Fuhrman Wants To Be Reaped For More YA Adaptations

Isabelle Fuhrman is a voracious reader. To wit, the "Hunger Games" actress has read the first installment of Suzanne Collins' dystopian trilogy more than a dozen times (and that's not just because she's playing District 2's knife-wielding tribute). So when the actress stopped by the MTV Newsroom yesterday to chat about her experience in the Arena as Clove, we just had to ask what was on her YA reading list.

"Have you read the book 'Divergent'?" she asked. To which we were totally like, umyeahofcourse. "I love that book," she enthused. When we pointed out that Veronica Roth's tale of factions in futuristic Chicago was in the early stages of adaptation, the actress let slip a few meaningful coughs and elbow jabs. (Casting directors: take note!) But "Divergent" isn't the only tome on Isabelle's radar.

"One of my favorite authors, Garbrielle Zevin, she did a book called 'Elsewhere,' that is one of my favorites, and I think they're making that into a movie too," she said. "I really want to be in that one just because the story is so beautiful. It's about where you go after you die and how you age backwards from the moment that you die in this completely different world. It's funny because they bring in different celebrities and talk about how they do something completely different when they go to Elsewhere, like Marilyn Monroe is a psychiatrist. It's a really fast read."

After being completely charmed by Isabelle, we'd be happy to see her in any YA adaptation that will have her.
