In kase you missed it, reality starlet Kim Kardashian and her New Jersey Nets boyfriend Kris Humphries tied the knot this weekend in a lavish $500,000 ceremony set in the tony coastal community of Montecito, California. Kongratulations, Kim and Kris!
According to Us Weekly, the kouple komposed their own vows, with Kris extolling bride Kim's "hustle and work ethic." Words we hope he sincerely means, seeing as multiple outlets are reporting Kim and Kris are postponing their honeymoon so Kim can begin filming the second season of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York."
Now, just because the two aren't jetting back to Bora Bora or lounging on a beach in the south of France doesn't mean they can't celebrate their nuptials in grand fashion. New York is, after all, one of the most romantic cities in the world. So, as a service to Kim and Kris, we've compiled a lovey-dovey itinerary for their time in the Big Apple. Bite in, kids!
"Fairy tale" is a phrase thrown around plenty in regards to Kim's nuptials, and what are a prince and princess without their horse-drawn carriage? Sure, it's a bit cliche, but a ride through lush Central Park would be a romantic (albeit slightly smelly) start to their New York City stay. And if Kim wants to appease PETA, she can always hire a man-powered pedicab (guaranteed not to do a No. 2 during the picturesque jaunt).
Ice cream social
Kim's not one to scrimp on life's luxuries, and with her wedding pictures reportedly fetching $1.5 million from People magazine, we think it appropriate Kim treat herself (and her man) in grand fashion. Meet the $1,000 Golden Opulence sundae served at NYC's beloved Serendipity 3. Kim and Kris will literally eat their profits with this creamy concoction, covered in 23-carat edible gold leaf and boasting Tahitian vanilla ice cream and hunks of Chuao chocolate. All served with an 18-carat gold spoon, naturally. This is certainly ice cream worth screaming over.
Breakfast at Tiffany's
We've long wondered if the weight of Kim's 20.5-carat diamond engagement ring could result in a misaligned spine considering her left side is bearing the brunt of that ginormous rock. Perhaps Kris should help his wife balance the scales with an equally weighty bauble purchased at the famed Fifth Avenue Tiffany's. After all, diamonds are a Kardashian's best friend.
