"The wedding was secret service style. It was insane. The crew was completely inconvenienced and grumbling around set," she said at the "Breaking Dawn" press conference at San Diego Comic-Con. She made sure to let them know she was thankful, saying, "You don't understand what this means to us, if this dress gets on the Internet I'll die."
Apparently there was a bit of a close call during the filming of the big scene where the wedding dress was almost caught by snooping cameras.
Director Bill Condon said that, while cameras were rolling, a helicopter flew over the set and the crew had to cover Kristen's dress with the closest thing they had: a Volturi cloak. Fortunately they got it over her in time and the full dress is still yet to be revealed.
KStew said her favorite scenes in the movie came immediately after the wedding sequence. "There's a scene of me and Charlie at the wedding that I love, and then with Renee, one right after another, I really like them," she said. "They're sweet."
When asked at the presser to name his favorite scene, Robert Pattinson went back to an old standard: the birthing scene.
"It's so different to everything else in the movie. For a fantasy series that has kind of a youngish audience, it goes quite far, it's quite hardcore, it's quite graphic, at least it was when we were doing it," he said.
"It felt overtly graphic," Kristen added.
"But there's no way to do it," RPattz responded. "If you've read the book, there's literally no way to do it in a tamed way. It was fun. It felt like it was brave."
