'90210''s Tristan Wilds And 'Nikita''s Shane West Talk Teen Angst On 'When I Was 17'

They both star on successful CW series now, but when they were 17, actors Tristan Wilds ("90210") and Shane West ("Nikita") were just regular teens, getting into regular teen troubles. The two studs (along with New Kids on the Block's Jordan Knight) are featured on tomorrow's episode of "When I Was 17," and we have a sneak peek!

Fans of Tristan's soapy, Beverly Hills-set series probably won't find it hard to believe that the now-21-year-old was a bit of a prankster back in his high school days.

"When I was 17, I was always hanging out with the older kids, and a lot of times, the kids that graduated would come back and play pranks," he recalled. "I was a huge, huge, huge prankster. So there was this one time that the college kids came back, and they were like, 'Follow us.' And I go through the door of the gymnasium, and they had this fire extinguisher right next to the door. So you open the door and through the crack of the door you can put the hose and spray it. And no one knows who's doing it. So, you know, we're laughing and kids are getting sprayed. But one kid—he saw through the door and he heard us laughing. So he definitely went and told on us. I got pulled out of class, and they had us in different classes, and I remember the principal in all of our faces."

Whoa, sounds pretty intense, huh? While Tristan was getting in trouble for his pranks, Shane was suffering some trouble of his own—of the girl variety. (Hard to believe it now...#justsayin.) Click play on the video below to hear about Shane's cringeworthy prom move.
