Joseph Morgan Pens An Entry In The 'Vampire Diaries' As This Week Hump Day Hottie

Oh, Klaus! As much as "Vampire Diaries" fans are nervous to see what it means now that Joseph Morgan will finally(!) appear on the show to torment Elena and the crew as the evil Original vamp, we have to admit we're also really excited to have another piece of eye candy in Mystic Falls. And in honor of his first appearance on the show, Joseph is this week's Hump Day Hottie!

Check out his dreamy photo below, then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The actor, 31, grew up in Wales and studied acting in London at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He's not only an actor and up-and-coming Hollywood stud, but also a philanthropist who works with the British non-profit Positive Women, which helps women and children affected by HIV in Swaziland. Good looking, well educated and a heart of gold? Sign us up!

Where you might have already seen him: He's done a lot of epic flicks in the past, including "Alexander," "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" and starred as Ben Hur in the miniseries of the same name in 2010. Other roles on his ever-expanding resume including parts in the TV shows "Casualty," "Doc Martin" and "William and Mary."

Why you should take notice of him now: Currently, Klaus' blood is coursing through Alaric's veins on "Vampire Diaries," but this week that all changes when Joseph makes his debut as the biggest and baddest vamp Mystic Falls (or anywhere else for that matter) has ever seen.

He's also got some big-screen projects set including "Angels Crest," "The Grind" and "The Immortals," which includes many A-listers and (hotties) like Joseph, Henry Cavill and Kellan Lutz.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can drool over Joseph!
