'Harry Potter' Star Daniel Radcliffe Would Rather Sing, Dance Than Be Naked

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is still months away (four long, Hogwarts-less months), but the world’s most famous boy wizard has found a way to pass the time until then—starring on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." We caught up with him on the musical’s red carpet recently, and he revealed which on-stage act he'd need to be under the Cruciatus Curse to perform.

"I’m still going to have to go with being naked on stage," Daniel answered when asked which was more terrifying: singing and dancing (which he’s claimed in the past to have "absolutely no aptitude" for) or being naked à la "Equus," his 2008 Broadway debut. "Once you’ve learned [singing and dancing], it can become really fun. I can’t say the same about being naked on stage."

Though he admitted performing the song and dance routine in the "home of the musical" is a little scary, Daniel added that "How to Succeed" has been much more fun all around than his more, erm, revealing stint on Broadway.

A bonus for American fans: The gig will keep Daniel stateside for quite a while—he’ll be performing eight times a week in the Big Apple straight into 2012.
