While many of us are still drying our eyes after the (maybe, probably) series finale of "Life Unexpected" last month, let us take solace in the fact that Lux (Britt Robertson) will likely be gracing our TV screens this fall. The 20-year old actress has found a new home on The CW's new series "Secret Circle," Entertainment Weekly reports. The pilot is described as a supernatural drama based on the series of books by L.J. Smith, executive produced by "Vampire Diaries" boss Kevin Williamson.
Britt is slated to play the new girl in town, who, along with navigating a new school's cafeteria social strata, discovers she has supernatural powers. Not only is she a teen witch, but a member of a secret coven that will stir up some age-old battles between good and evil. Hmm, if this is a little "Supernatural" meets "Dawson's Creek," I think I can dig it... can you?
Despite airing what we believed was the last we'd ever see of Lux, Cate and Baze, the network still claims to be determining the fate of the show. I don't know about you, Crushers, but my feeble heart can't take all of this back-and-forth! According to The CW, Robertson's new role on "Secret Circle" is currently in "second position" to her role on "Life Unexpected," which means the network has some serious decision making to do before the seasons change.
