Thankfully, for fans of Richelle’s artfully crafted vampire world, “Last Sacrifice” is not really the end. As we announced earlier this month, Richelle’s spin-off series, “Bloodlines,” will hit bookstore shelves in August 2011. Richelle told Entertainment Weekly recently that the series will focus on human Sydney and Moroi vampire Jill, adding rather coyly, “The male lead is going to be the big surprise. I’ll only say that it’s one of the love interests from ’Vampire Academy.'” Oh, the suspense!
It’s teasers like this that not only make us thankful for all of 2010’s stellar reads but also super-eager to turn the proverbial page to 2011. We have so many awesome books waiting for us in the new year! From “Bloodlines” to Cassandra Clare’s “City of Fallen Angels,” we can hardly stand the suspense!
