Christina Aguilera And Husband Jordan Bratman Reportedly Separate

Someone must have spiked Hollywood's Evian supply, because it looks like separation syndrome is catching. Hot on the heels of Courteney Cox and David Arquette's separation announcement comes news that Christina Aguilera has split from her husband of five years, Jordan Bratman. The couple have a 2-year-old son, Max.

A source close to the pair that spoke with People magazine confirmed the news. "Yes they are separated. Right now they're just trying to figure things out. There are no divorce proceedings at this point."

Christina met record producer Jordan back in 2002 during a trip to Atlanta to record her solo album. Jordan proposed three years later on a romantic Caramel, Calif., getaway. The lovebirds wed Nov. 11, 2005 in a lavish $2 million ceremony in Napa Valley.

With her upcoming feature film debut, "Burlesque," set for release next month—and Christina likely bound for the press circuit—it will be hard for the 29-year-old to dodge questions about her marital status for long. Here's hoping the pair can work out their differences.
