Baz Luhrmann Mulls 'Dancing With The Stars' Guest Judging Stint

On last season's "Dancing With the Stars," director extraordinaire and lover of all thing musical Baz Luhrmann stopped by the hit ABC dance competition show to lend his talents and eye at the judging table as a guest judge for an episode.

With the new season well underway, Luhrmann, who wouldn't mind getting involved with "Glee" even though he has plenty of other projects on his docket, admits that if he can find the time, he'd love to stop by "DWTS" again this season to judge the dancing talents of celebs like Audrina Patridge and The Situation.

"I wanted to try to. I mean, look, it doesn’t need my help. You wake up and the CNN headline is usually Obama and the heartbeat thrown off 'DWTS,'" he joked to MTV News. "It was really fun cause you know 'DWTS' was inspired by [my film] 'Strictly Ballroom' in the BBC, so I did it."

And with so many projects a possibility at the moment, Baz just isn't sure he can make it work. "I just don’t know! I'm so absorbed in the films at the moment and there's only one of me," he revealed. "And we're very, very slow, perhaps you haven’t noticed!"

Well if he does return, we hope the contestants don't keep it strictly ballroom!
