If you were a fan of the first "Camp Rock" movie starring the always lovely Demi Lovato and the always adorable Jonas Brothers, you probably don't need much convincing to catch its sequel, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" when it debuts tonight on Disney Channel. But, the stars of the song-and-dance fest were more than willing to provide a few good reasons to catch the TV movie, when MTV News caught up with them at the flick's New York City premiere.
"We have two camps this time—Camp Rock and Camp Star—and we kind of just battle it out to see who wins," explained star Jasmine Richards. "There's a lot of cool, fun songs and dances."
Costar Meaghan Martin couldn't help but agree. "I'm excited for people to see all the dancing and hear the music," she said.
For "Camp Rock" newcomer Chloe Bridges, it's all about the budding romance between her character Dana and Nick Jonas' Nate. "I think it will surprise people," she said. "It doesn't lack realness and emotionality. It's fun to watch, but there are also very real moments—especially with the romance."
Singing, dancing and romancing? What could be better?
