We can't help but wonder if movie studio execs have been unknowingly tapping our dreams with "Inception"-style voodoo, because the latest casting news out of Hollywood is just too good to be true: Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper will be starring in a movie together! Let me give you a minute to process that. Ryan. Bradley. Movie. Good.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two hunks will be starring in an untitled action-comedy, which "follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results." No word yet on who will play the patriarchs.
Now, normally something this testosterone-laden wouldn't necessarily be up our alley, but the prospect of seeing (and gawking at) Ryan and Bradley's collective 12-pack is just too much to resist. We're keeping our fingers crossed for an epic chase sequence that culminates with their squad car taking a dive off a bridge/cliff into the Bay, ensuring the two emerge in wet, clingy T-shirts. But that's just us.
What do you think of the news that Ryan and Bradley will be teaming up for a movie? Got any dream scenes (keep it kosher!) you'd love to see in the film?
