Mary Elizabeth Winstead: We're Obsessing Over The 'Scott Pilgrim' Star In This Week's Girl Crush

Scott Pilgrim isn't going to be showing The World how much he loves Ramona Flowers until August 13, but we decided to express our affections for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" star Mary Elizabeth Winstead a little bit sooner. Hopefully by doing so we won't end up having to fight her long time boyfriend, writer Riley Stearns, for naming her our girl crush of the week!

First known for her performance on the small screen, Mary broke into Hollywood at age 15 by playing recurring character Jessica Bennett on the soap opera "Passions," and then starring in the short-lived werewolf thriller (opposite Paul Wesley, we might add) on the single season of "Wolf Lake."

It wasn't until 2005 when then 21-year-old Mary landed her first major film role as the supervillain Royal Pain in the kid superhero film "Sky High." After that, she would go on to become one of the best known "scream queens" thanks to her roles in "Final Destination 3," "Black Christmas" and Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof."

Mary has gained some prominence over the past few years thanks to action flicks like "Live Free or Die Hard" (any girl who plays John McClane's daughter earns some tough-girl points in our books) and the critically acclaimed "Bobby." In addition to her slew of love interests in "Scott Pilgrim," 26-year-old Mary will also be stealing many a geek heart in the 2011 remake of John Carpenter's "The Thing."

But until then, we cannot wait to watch all her hot ex-boyfriends (and girlfriend!) battle over her next weekend!!
