Hollywood Remembers Gary Coleman In Today’s Tweet Dreams

Memorial Day weekend got off to a sad start in Hollywood as news that former child star Gary Coleman (pictured in 1982) passed away this afternoon at the age of 42 after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Many stars took to their twitters to pay their respects to the “Diff’rent Strokes” star, including Keke Palmer, who shared, “R.I.P. Gary , you gave me hope that one day I could have my own tv show, much love.” A saddened Travis Barker simply stated, “RIP Gary Coleman”.

Other celebs reminisced about watching Gary when they were young, including Eliza Dushku who wrote, “We love you Gary Coleman, thank u for Diff’rent Strokes, sir, u brought joy into my & my bros childhood.. “Whatchoo talkin bout, Willis..” And, “House” actor Omar Epps tweeted, ” RIP Gary Coleman You’re forever a part of my childhood! Godspeed!”
