'True Blood' Season 3 Trailer: Wait ... Is That Sookie And Eric Making Out!?

Waiting sucks. Not even the most delicious drop of "True Blood" can fully alleviate our insatiable appetites for the upcoming third season of the HBO series, set to launch on June 13. But you know what might do the trick? An all new trailer for "True Blood" season three!

At long last, the first official trailer (see it after the jump!) for the new season of "True Blood" is upon us, as seen during a commercial break on another vampire series, "The Vampire Diaries." But with the CW show's finale already aired, it's time to look past Elena, Stefan and Damon and focus on the adventures of Sookie, Eric and Bill!

After the jump, we've listed some of our favorite moments from the new "True Blood" trailer!

- "They took someone I love from me, but I was raised to fight back." Finally, after two seasons of playing the victim, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is getting proactive and plans to search for her abducted boyfriend, Vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer). But can she resist the charismatic charms of Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) and the warm embrace of Alcide (Joe Manganiello), the new werewolf lurking Bon Temps?

- "I'm getting so mad that I do bad things. It's in my nature!" Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) is back to her basic instincts, going around and abducting humans for her own carnal needs. Let's hope that Hoyt (Jim Parrack) is around to offer her the guidance she so clearly needs!

- Hypocrite alert! Is it my imagination, or was it just this week that Tara Thorton (Rutina Wesley) ripped into Sookie's vampire-loving behavior in the latest "Drop of True Blood" video? It seems that she's going against her own advice, as the trailer shows Tara in a passionate scene with — you guessed it — a vampire! Looks like Tara's insecurities are sticking around in season three.

- Speaking of passion, it looks like everybody is getting some action this year! Tara with a vampire, Jason with lord-only-knows, Sookie hugging Alcide and, um, MAKING OUT WITH ERIC? This is going to be one steamy season of "True Blood," that's for sure!
