Seth Green seems to be adding his name to everything these days, not only acting in movies (you may know him from “The Italian Job,” “Party Monster,” “Without a Paddle,” “Austin Powers” … just to name a few) but he’s also added his name to a marriage license!
Seth, 36, and Clare Grant, 30, were married on Saturday, May 1 at a private vineyard in Northern California, just outside of San Francisco.
A source close to the couple confided to us the details of the ceremony, describing the new Mrs. Greens’ tiered Oscar de la Renta wedding dress as “beautiful.” Not to be left out of dressing stylishly, Seth wore a custom-made suit from Dennis Kim. Clare’s wedding and engagement rings were designed by Green and Barry Jay Jewelers, and both the bride and the groom sparkled thanks to jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino, with Clares’ headpiece and Seths’ cufflinks coming from Tarina's collection.
Officiating at the wedding was Craig Brewer, who cast Clare in a number of indie films, including her starring role in his MTV series “$5 Cover.” You may also recognize Clare as Audrey Parks, Johnny Cash’s backstage hook-up in the Academy-Award winning film, “Walk the Line.”
As for Clare’s new husband? He’s made even more of a name for himself as Executive Producer/creator/most frequent voice of the Emmy-winning series “Robot Chicken” and the voice of Chris on the raw comedy “Family Guy.” Seth will also be starring in Disney’s March 2011 feature “Mars Needs Moms.” If that’s not enough, he and business partner Matthew Senreich are lending their creative touches to Lucasfilm’s upcoming animated and comedic “Star Wars” series.
With this being the first marriage for each, the newlyweds are simply enjoying being in love, saying, “We can’t believe we found each other, we’ve never been happier!” We wish them the best of luck in their tricky navigation of being married in Hollywood!
