It's been an interesting week for Lindsay Lohan. First she was dumped from her movie "The Other Side" because she was deemed "not bankable," then some racy photos were released by photographer pal Tyler Shields of her covered in blood holding a gun to her head, and then TMZ reported she might be headed to jail very soon. Well, at least the newest news is good news.
E! spoke to Tyler at his recent gallery opening in L.A. recently and was able to confirm that Lindsay's previously rumored role as porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming Matthew Wilder indie drama "Inferno" was actually happening. Turns out Tyler had been contacted by Matthew to do promos for the film. E! says the film announcement was supposed to be made later this month at Cannes.
Linda Lovelace is best known as the porn actress who starred in the 1972 hard-core movie "Deep Throat," which is the most financially successful porn film ever made. She then went on to leave the porn industry, claiming she had been forced into it by her abusive husband, and became an antipornography activist for a while after. She passed away in 2002 due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Are you excited to see Lindsay star in this kind of racy drama? Do you think it is a fitting role for her?
