'New Moon' DVD Release Party: Does Nikki Reed Want 'Breaking Dawn' To Be Split Into Two?

Nikki Reed and Chris Weitz gave some lucky fans in the Los Angeles area a nice when they celebrated the release of "New Moon" at the Wal-Mart in Santa Clarita. Though Chris is out of the "Breaking Dawn" director race, Nikki had some thoughts to share about the upcoming project.

"I would love to talk about 'Breaking Dawn' because I would love to know what's going on," she admitted with a laugh. "All I know is that hopefully something is going to happen, and I can't wait to hear about it, because I am just as anxious as you and everybody else. We just don't know anything yet."

She and Chris did give their thoughts on one of the most hotly debated topics surrounding the project: whether it should be made into one film or two.

"I don't see how you could possibly make 'Breaking Dawn' into one film," Nikki said, while Chris agreed in the background. "I think [two films] is the right thing to do."

They are just two of many "Twilight Saga" stars who have echoed that sentiment about the final installment(s).

"The story absolutely warrants two films," Kristen Stewart told MTV in an interview last month about "The Yellow Handkerchief." "But I think you could do it with one. It just depends."

Robert Pattinson had similar sentiments when he was promoting "Remember Me," saying, "It really just depends on the script either way."
