Anna Kedrick Goes 'Up In The Air' To Japan

Days after Anna Kendrick and "Up in the Air" came up a shocking 0-for-6 at the Oscars, the 24-year-old touched down in Tokyo to promote the film's March 20 release in Japan.

"I. Love. It. Here," she wrote on her Twitter, linking to a photo of Japanese flowers.

Anna, who lost out to Mo'Nique ("Precious") in the Best Supporting Actress category, donned an ice blue strapless dress as she posed for photos. She wasn't accompanied by her "Up in the Air" costars George Clooney and Vera Farmiga. Nor did director Jason Reitman make the trip; he was busy delivering a lecture at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and munching on one of the area's famous garlic cheeseburgers.

The ultra-busy Anna, though, was able to squeeze in the Japan voyage. Back in North America, her untitled comedy co-starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bryce Dallas Howard is still filming. Come June, the publicity machine for "Eclipse" will ramp up, followed in August by the promotional effort for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." No wonder she's having trouble keeping it all straight.

"Apparently I am now on my way to Tokyo," she tweeted just before hopping her flight.
