Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning And More Rock The L.A. 'Runaways' Red Carpet

So most of you probably spent all of yesterday watching the new "Eclipse" trailer on repeat (don't worry, we won't judge you). As a result, you may have forgotten to eat, work, sleep and catch the L.A. premiere for "The Runaways," the biopic about an all-girl 1970s rock group starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. That's why we're here of course — to give you the full red carpet recap of last night's event, complete with the fashion hits and misses.

First of all, can we just say that Kristen looked totally fab last night? Seriously, this girl has totally upped her game. First, KStew wears a totally glam gown to the Oscars, earning herself a coveted spot on our best dressed list, and now she shows up to this premiere in a rocker chic Doo.Ri dress, which we couldn't help but love. Did we mention it was bright pink? Yeah, that only made it better. She's also flaunting Salvatore Ferragamo peep-toe pumps, in case you're wondering.

Lucky for Kristen, she had someone to share her big day with. KStew was joined on the red carpet by Dakota, who's also in "Eclipse." Dakota looked cute as usual, but we weren't fans of the two-tone Valentino dress (we liked the top half better than the bottom). Oh, and we also would have loved to see her change up that hair (advice we've also given Kristen in the past!).

Kristen and Dakota were joined on the red carpet by Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, a.k.a. the women they portray in the movie (do you see a resemblance?). While KStew and Dakota went for a modern, trendier look, Joan and Cherie went straight up old school. Now, we can't imagine ourselves pulling off their looks, but we do kind of love the fact that they just brought back the 70s without hesitation.

On to Riley Keough, who plays Dakota's sister, Mary, in the movie, we thought the dress was decent but lacked any real edge (after all, the girl is Elvis' granddaughter...take a risk!). Also, we think it would have been better off without the full mesh sleeves and the dark tights. We had some gripes about other members of the Runaways band (p.s. where was Alia Shawkat?), Scout Taylor Compton and Stella Maeve (OK, so mostly Scout), too. Stella's one-shoulder dress was slightly boring, but it was Taylor's outfit that really bothered us. We're not sure where to start, but we will say that the white vest (which looked more like faux fur) was beyond unnecessary and the red belt was too cliche. The shoes were cute though!

Finally, the "Runaways" cast was joined by none other than Taylor Lautner. We liked that Taylor went casual, but the leather jacket was a size too small and the t-shirt a bit too plain. Also, we would have preferred to see him in darker blue jeans. Of course, what he wore isn't really the point, what's more important is that Taylor showed up to support his "Eclipse costar.
