Anna Kendrick sure is one lucky lady. The 24-year-old actress has now worked with Robert Pattinson and George Clooney while currently earning raves for her Golden Globe and SAG nominated turn in the dramedy "Up in the Air." Anna stopped by "The Ellen De Generes Show" today to about how Jason Reitman wrote her role specifically for her after seeing her in the movie "Rocket Science," her newfound fame (it's "very, very strange to have photographers yelling at you on red carpets," she told the talk-show host) and how she got two of the world's sexiest men to start a bit of a battle (all in good fun, of course).
While Anna shuttled between the "Twilight" and "Up in the Air" sets, Clooney would kid with her about being part of the "Twilight" saga, telling Ellen, "George gave me such a hard time about shooting "Twilight." Whenever I came back, it was like, 'Oh sorry, this isn't the "Twilight"" set. You're not working with Mr. Handsome.' He called Rob 'Mr. Handsome.'" Anna decided to have a little fun by getting Rob (aka 'Mr. Handsome') to sign his copy of GQ, on which he wrote, "To George, Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love Rob."
She went on to tell Ellen about the retaliation, "George signed his Esquire back to him (Rob) "Dear Rob, Thanks for all the inspiration. I'm a huge fan. Love, George, two time 'Sexiest Man Alive"
Did you catch Anna on Ellen? Have you caught her performance in "Up in the Air" yet? Did you get a kick out of her George/Rob rivalry story as much as we did?
