Most romcom lovers would probably agree that 2009 was an especially slow year. Sure, there were some good flicks like "500 Days of Summer" or "He's Just Not That Into You," but certainly not a steady stream. Well, luckily, it's a new year and that means new romcoms to look forward to.
Amongst them, is "When in Rome," a movie about a single gal, Beth (Kristen Bell), who is unlucky in love. During a trip to Rome, Beth meets a cute guy (Josh Duhamel) and decides it's time to take her luck into her own hands. So, she heads to the Fountain of Love, where the lovesick throw in coins, and picks up a few for herself — thinking that maybe their love will rub off on her. Well, it does ... but not exactly how she wanted it to. Every guy whose coin she happened to pick up ends up falling in love with her.
Doesn't sound too bad right? Well, wait till you see some of her newfound lovers. In our exclusive clip, Beth is approached by Gale (Dax Shepard) a self-obsessed model, who drops some really bad (but also totally hilarious) pickup lines.
Some of our favorites?
"I'm Gale, like a Gale force wind."
"This is crazy, I don't know whether to look at my reflection or at you, that's how beautiful you are."
Ouch. If you want to hear more of Gale's classic one-liners (trust us, you do), check out the clip below!
