It's 2010 and that means we are that much closer to the release of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." Last week, Disney released some a teaser trailer and an interview with the cast of the flick (including the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato), and the whole crew gushed about how they've really upped the musical ante in the sequel to the highly successful Disney Channel flick.
"I think music is what drives Camp Rock 2," Demi says in the preview (check out the full video here). Kevin Jonas added, "People are having a blast. They're giving their all every time you see something on the screen."
Nick insists that the music will really outdo the first flick. "The first movie music was a part of it, this one music tells the story," he said. "I had a great time shooting it."
Also being emphasized in "Camp Rock 2" is the love story between Demi and Joe. She told MTV News in November, "We upped the romantic scenes between my character and Joe Jonas'," but she wouldn't reveal if they have a kiss or not, adding, "You'll have to watch for it." In a new image from the flick, however, on People.com, Joe and Demi are seen holding hands. "There's a lot more romance with my character and even with Nick's character," Joe told the magazine. "The romance, the singing and dancing — everything is bigger and better."
As for Nick's new romantic storyline with actress Chloe Bridges, he credits their on-screen chemistry with their off-screen friendship. "It's fun," he said. "It's good when you feel comfortable with the person and we're friends."
But, what are we most looking forward to? Frankie Jonas joining his older brothers for some film magic.
What do you hope to see when "Camp Rock 2" premieres?
