'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' First Teaser Trailer Has Us Feeling Magical

When the MTV Movies Blog talked about the first few pictures from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” to hit the internet last week, their big complaint was that there was not enough given away enough in the pictures, especially since they are the first to come online. While we at Hollywood Crush aren’t quite so picky, the teaser trailer for “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” that will be released with the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” DVD gives us plenty to be excited for.

The opening shot is of the Lovegood house, with Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) asking Luna Lovegood’s father, Xenophilius, about the deathly hallows. Then there is a quick shot of what looks like it could be the back of Sirius Black (our minds first went to Harry’s now-deceased godfather) or Severus Snape with camera flashbulbs going off.

Then there are shots of Hermione (Emma Watson) walking into a town that could be Tottenham Court Road in London. Then there is the shot of Harry, Hermione and Ron (Rupert Grint) walking through a subway which was the screenshot that was released last week.

The trailer includes shots of Harry and Hermione looking at his parent’s grades, the trio spending time in the woods and in London during their hideout period, and some fights against Voldemort’s lackeys. We like the cinema verite look that director David Yates promised while Harry, Ron and Hermione travel through London. Overall, we’ve found plenty to get excited over as we wait the next 11 months for “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” to be released.
