They flaunted their harmonious style on the cover of November's Vogue, and now the ladies of the movie musical "Nine" are taking their act overseas, hopping the pond to premiere their film last night at London's Odeon Leicester Square.
The true virtuosos (sartorially-speaking) of the night were clearly Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson. Penelope shined in an icy metallic Ralph Lauren beaded gown while costar Kate made a bold statement in her white Versace strapless gown, with a beautiful sculptural skirt.
A fashion encore we won't be standing for anytime soon is that casual, slightly frumpy ensemble the usually impeccable Nicole Kidman sported. And by sported we mean it looked like she was ready to play a sport, opting for a fitted white blazer and what appears to be a tennis skirt. Also settling on an interesting outfit was the regal Dame Judi Dench, whose lime green Betty Jackson dress looked more fitting for someone of Nicole's stature. Kudos, though, for a unique color choice, which only Judi and a handful of people could ever pull off.
Not to be outdone by his lovely lady costars, Daniel Day-Lewis looked as though he borrowed a few items (milkshake not included) from the "There Will Be Blood" costume closet, rocking some high-waisted pin-striped pants, a black embellished button-down and a velvet blazer.
We're not sure why the always-stunning Marion Cotillard was MIA, but if you're wondering why Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson didn't walk the red carpet, she had to settle for singing at the "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!" with her group the Black Eyed Peas back in the States. Hard life that one leads.
What do you think of the style choices at last night's "Nine" premiere?
